At the Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society, we provide a variety of services to the local community to help pets live happier, longer, and healthier lives. Our offerings support the community in many ways, including temporary lost-pet housing, assistance with scheduling visits to local veterinarians, behavioral guidance, and other resources to keep pets safe and well cared for.

SNIP Program

  • The Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society offers affordable, high-quality spay and neuter services to help reduce pet overpopulation and keep our community’s animals healthy and happy.

  • The Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society offers affordable and reliable microchipping services to help reunite lost pets with their families; our trained staff implant tiny, permanent ID chips that are registered in national databases, update owner contact information when needed, and provide clear instructions on how to scan and maintain the microchip record. We hold regular microchipping clinics and also offer the service during adoption events so every animal leaving our care has a lifetime form of identification. In addition to performing the procedure, we educate pet owners about the importance of linking the chip to current contact details, recommend combining microchips with visible ID tags, and assist with transfers or updates to registration to ensure a quick, successful return should a pet go missing.

  • Vaccines are important to keep your pets safe. We have teamed up with a local Vaccination Clinic to help provide this service.

    Feline Distemper | Free

  • If you have lost your beloved pet, we can help you through our Lost & Found service. If we or someone in the community finds your missing companion, we can provide temporary shelter and care until you are able to come retrieve them.
